As if I wasn't concerned enough about trying to gain more weight, now I have developed a rash on my arms, legs, back and torso. At first I thought it was mosquito bites but since it has now been two weeks since I've had this rash I decided I should go see the doctor. He let me know that it is not bug bites but an allergy I have developed now that I am pregnant. Oh the joys of being pregnant!!!! He put me on a higher strength cortisone creme as well as Benadryl. Most likely he said it will last throughout the entire pregnancy. Not much I can do about it I guess! On a lighter note, I did get weighed again today and I have gained weight!!!!! Yay for Ensure! I am now up 4 pounds weighing in at 117! Hopefully in three more weeks at my next OB appointment I will have gained a couple of more pounds! That's it for now. This is a picture of us at La Joya Beach, California. We recently came back from vacation in June. We had a wonderful time visiting Daddy, Aida and Nic. The weather was beautiful and we didn't want to leave!!!!
18 weeks
Well the latest report from my doc two weeks ago was that Jackson is doing great. I however did not get a good report. :-( I am not gaining as much weight as she would like me to. My weight was 113 and she wants me around 121. I have only gained 3lbs! So....she put me on Heatlhy Moms Ensure and I am drinking tons of whole milk. Hopefully at my next appointment I will have gained some weight!
I think I'm starting to feel Jackson move now. Though the doc says you might get it confused with gas bubbles! I only feel it every now and then and not everyday.
Scott started painting the nursery this past weekend. He wouldn't let me help, for one because of the fumes and I think he wanted it to be a surprise! It looks wonderful! I can't wait to put the bedding and furniture in it!
