Nina bought Jackson some new soft rings that he loves! We were putting them on our heads and he got so excited he threw himself back and hit his head on the floor. He cried for a second and then back to playing. I'm putting a before and after picture. If you click on the second picture you can see the teary eyes! Poor baby!

An apple a day.....
Dad decided to give Jackson an apple yesterday and boy did he love it! He actually bit a piece off and had it in his mouth for quite a while! He was saving it for a snack!

A day at the lake.....
Here are some pics of our day at Lake Monticello. He seemed to like it okay until the waves hit him. He was content to play on his blanket in the sand.

7 months old
Jackson has turned 7 months old! We just got over our first cold (or whatever it was, allergies?) That was not fun! We're still working on our crawling. He actuallty prefers walking than crawling. He just gets upset that he can't move. Maybe he'll skip crawling and go straight to walking!
Everything else is going well. He's starting to notice strangers and he doesn't like them at all. He will cry when he sees someone he doesn't know very well. Hopefully he will get over this soon!

Happy 4th of July!
Here are some pics of our 4th of July celebration. We went to Scottsville with Chris and Micah. Unfortunately the fireworks started late (way past Jackson's bedtime) so we couldn't stay to watch them. We had a good time justing hanging out though. Mom & Dad Dennis sent Jackson a 4th of July outfit that he got to sport! How cute is he!
Hope everyone had a great holiday and day off!

Helping Mom with the laundry
Here is Jackson helping me with the laundry. He was in a cranky mood and then I covered him with laundry and he stopped crying! He liked playing peek a boo with Scott's boxers! Ha!
He is doing well. We're still practicing trying to crawl. Everyday he gets closer and closer! Not much longer now!
